LA FUENTE is a family-run restaurant in Albaicín, Granada, celebrating the simple pleasures of Andalusian cuisine. Located on Paseo del Padre Manjón (the historic Paseo de los Tristes), our restaurant sits where the Darro River has flowed past countless generations of granadinos. The Albaicín, one of Granada's oldest and most enchanting neighborhoods, is a living tapestry of history—its narrow streets, whitewashed houses, hidden courtyards, and fountains trace back to Islamic foundations and Nasrid times (13th–15th centuries). Walking here is to journey through layers of Mediterranean heritage, from Iberian and Roman origins to Moorish layouts still recognized today.
